Dangerous Products Target Black Women

A new study from researchers at the US National Institutes of Health (NIH) has revealed that women who use chemical hair straighteners and relaxers may be at a higher risk for developing uterine cancer.

 

The findings, which were published in the Journal of the National Cancer Institute on October 17, 2022, suggest that such products can increase one’s chances of being diagnosed with this form of cancer.
